Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of SQLOZ (“the Software”), a database management application for macOS published by Özcan Teknoloji Yazılım (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
1. License
The Software is proprietary and owned by Özcan Teknoloji Yazılım. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for your own use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Software, except as expressly permitted by applicable law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
2. Subscriptions and Payments
SQLOZ is free to download and use. Advanced tools (“SQLOZ Pro”) are unlocked through an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the Apple App Store.
Subscription summary
- Free trial: Eligible users receive a 7-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial, and it ends automatically unless you buy the subscription before it expires.
- Billing: Your App Store account is charged at confirmation of purchase, then again within 24 hours before each renewal period ends.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price until cancelled.
- Cancellation: Turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel at any time in your App Store account settings (App Store → your account → Subscriptions).
- Price changes: If the price of your subscription changes, the App Store notifies you before the next renewal; you can cancel instead of accepting.
- Refunds: Payments are processed by Apple. We cannot issue refunds; request one from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com within the applicable period.
- Unused trial: If you buy SQLOZ Pro during a free trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited at purchase, per App Store policy.
By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that it is managed through your App Store account and that the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (including the App Store Standard EULA) apply to your purchase. To cancel a subscription or request a refund, follow Apple’s procedures — we have no ability to cancel or refund App Store transactions on your behalf.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Software only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws. You are responsible for the database servers you connect to and for any actions you perform with the Software against them. Do not use the Software to violate the rights of others, including intellectual property rights, or to gain unauthorized access to systems.
4. Intellectual Property
The Software, including its code, design, and documentation, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The “SQLOZ” name and logo are our trademarks. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them to improve the Software.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. You use the Software — including when connecting to production databases — at your own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Özcan Teknoloji Yazılım shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Software. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software in the twelve months preceding the claim.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be announced in the Software or on this page. Continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your license to use the Software if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Software at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 5, and 6) will survive.
